According to findings from the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing published online January 25, 2018 in Diabetologia, prediabetes and diabetes are associated with a faster rate of global cognitive decline - memory, executive function and orientation cognitive tests - over time among individuals aged ≥50 years compared to individuals with normoglycemia.
